Duke of Edinburgh Awards
At LVS Hassocks we offer a tailored Duke of Edinburgh programme, in which we do not insist on overnight camping. We also offer a variety of facilities for our students to complete their volunteering, physical and skills sections.
These facilities include a café for volunteering, as well as a horticulture area, a music room and a food technology room. We also offer our participants to be given 1-1 time, off timetable to complete each of these sections.
We have had our students volunteer in the wider public, in places such as The Fish Barn Crawley, Hickstead Cat Rescue Centre, The Sayers Common Community shop and many more!
