Staff Training - Continuing Professional Development

CPD is very important to us as a staff body. We want to be upskilling our workforce to be as effective as they can when working with our young people. We regularly train our staff in:

  • Safeguarding
  • Autism approaches (zones of regulation, social thinking, social stories and comic strip conversations)
  • Supporting our young people with problem solving
  • Understanding and analysing behaviour
  • Pedagogy
  • Teaching standards
