Last Friday, 25th April 2025, the LVS Hassocks community gathered to celebrate the incredible career and retirement of Sarah Sherwood, the Director of SEN for LVS Hassocks and its two sister schools, LVS Ascot and LVS Oxford.
Sarah dedicated a huge part of her life to supporting and educating young people with autism. She has moved through her career with compassion and unwavering commitment, which is something that undoubtedly needed celebrating. Sarah’s retirement event was Afternoon Tea themed, with a huge selection of sweet and savoury treats available to the guests. Staff, students and families shared heartfelt speeches and gifts, including a memory book for Sarah to keep and remind herself of her times at LVS Hassocks.
