LVS Hassocks – Winners of the Albion Cup

LVS Hassocks attended the Albion Cup this week and had an amazing day out. Students travelled down to The Triangle at Burgess Hill to take part in the football tournament against thirteen other schools.

They played against six other schools in their group, winning all six games. LVS Hassocks won 7-1, 4-0, 2-0, 6-0, 3-0 and 2-1, with amazing goalkeeping from Sam, fantastic defending from Gary and Jake, and unbelievable goal scoring from Alfie, Hayden, Cody, Freddie.

They got into the semi-finals where they won 3-0, and then progressed into the final…and won it 1-0!

Well done to the whole team for an amazing performance, with a special shout-out to Alfie for scoring the tournament winning goal!
