LVS Hassocks Pride Café

On the morning of Friday 5th July 2024, LVS Hassocks hosted its own Pride Café in the Sussex Centre. The purpose of the day was to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ people and issues, as well as raise money for some selected LGBTQ+ youth charities. There were games, book sales and tombola, as well as our usual cakes and drinks. Friends and families were all welcome and had a fantastic time.

All students were allowed to to wear non-school uniform, and contributed a donation of £1 which went towards the chosen charities. Allsorts Youth Project were also there to deliver assemblies throughout the day, which was fantastic.
