We were delighted to host the first ever ISA SEN football tournament for both independent and state schools within our 36-acre grounds in Sayers Common. The schools that attended include Wemms, Slindon College, Muntham House and Oakgrove College.

The morning kicked off with Albion in the Community through Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club delivering a ‘masterclass’ for the players. This included some practical skills teaching and fun warm up activities.

Jen Weeks, Principal of LVS Hassocks said “I am so proud that our local community of specialist schools have come together to celebrate what will hopefully be a yearly event. We were delighted to host such an inclusive and fun event.”

The football tournament was a great success with each student receiving a medal to highlight their participation and involvement in the day.

Helen Stanton-Tonner, Director of Education and Inclusion for the Independent Schools Association (ISA)  said “It’s amazing to be part of such an inclusive and forward-thinking event that incorporates the local independent and state schools in the area. Thank you to Jen and the team for inviting us along.”
